In 1961, the idea for this
Association was originated by Rod Rekofski and other Waterloo Coin Society
members. They decided to hold a meeting in London, Ontario on October 7,
1961 with club representatives from various numismatic clubs in Ontario.
They were to decide at this meeting on whether to create an Ontario
Association or not.
The meeting was a success and all that were present supported the idea.
